Now for all smart and savvy computer and information, communication technology (ICT) enthusiasts will be able to shop with confidence and ease at the all-new IT Plaza at Skudai Parade.
This dedicated space featuring more than 40 shops on the second and third floor of the complex will be the biggest one-stop IT centre here for computers, digital electronic products and accessories.
The IT Plaza @ Skudai Parade is targeted to be opened by September 2010. The centre will offer more than 60,000 sq ft of shopping space exclusively dedicated for ICT-based convenience stores and branded products. IT Plaza who has a combined management team experience of more than 45 years of experience has already attracted some of the biggest names in the IT retail industry, including the Lenovo concept store, Panasonic digital centre, Apple retail store and Acer Computers.
A host of other major retailers dealing in everything from desktop PCs to laptops, notebooks, mobile phones and other multi-media products and state of the art accessories will also be setting up shops in IT Plaza.
These stores will carry more than RM10 million worth of merchandise at any one time, making this the biggest and most comprehensive one-stop IT centre in Johor. IT Plaza will be the leading IT centre in the Johor; a one-stop haven that offers the latest, most innovative, and widest range of genuine and value-for-money IT and electronic gadgets.
Another prominent feature will be the setting up of product service centers of nearly all established IT brands, making it a convenient destination for purchasers who require personalized after-sales service for goods purchased. IT Plaza will set up its own service centre and they are the authorized service dealer for all branded computers.
An ICT Centre is an essential part of a shopping complex’s development especially in this period of more savvy and discerning shoppers. Almost everything we do, a part of ICT is utilized. The proposed IT Plaza is important’’ towards the community, tenants and young adults in a move towards a “knowledge-based economy,’’ and in bringing full ICT services to all parts of the Skudai area.
